Aventis Systems Awarded BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing Contract
Contract Aligns Aventis Systems Products with Needs of Local Government and Education Customers
ATLANTA — February 21, 2019 — Aventis Systems, Inc., a leading provider of information technology hardware, software and services, announced today that it has been awarded a cooperative purchasing contract from BuyBoard, an online purchasing cooperative that provides customers with access to thousands of items that have gone through a competitive procurement process. The contract is effective immediately and will continue through December 31, 2019, with two possible one-year renewals.
The contract will make Aventis Systems' products and services available to BuyBoard members for 10 percent off their commercial prices in the following categories:
- Computer hardware and equipment
- Network hardware and related products
- Cabling and related products
- Technology supplies and related products
- Technology repair parts
- Business/office software, desktop/web publishing software
BuyBoard currently represents over 6,500 entities including city and county governments, other local government agencies, non-profit agencies and public/private schools and universities. Members of BuyBoard include:
- Members participating under The Local Government Purchasing Cooperative are Texas school districts, cities, counties, universities and other local governmental agencies inside of Texas
- Members participating under Texas Association of School Boards are non-profit organizations inside and outside the state of Texas
- Members participating under the National Purchasing Cooperative are local governmental agencies which reside outside the state of Texas

The purchasing process is simple: Members browse BuyBoard to locate products, obtain price information, compare prices and verify that they are getting the best deal. They then use the RFQ feature to request quotes from vendors and to potentially obtain additional price discounts off items.
