Juniper Networks EX4200 Series Ethernet Switches
The Juniper Networks EX4200 Series Ethernet Switches combines the best of both worlds: carrier-class reliability and high availability of modular systems and the flexible economics and low power and cooling requirements of stackable platforms to deliver a high-performing, highly-scalable solution for campus, data center, branch office environments, and Gigabit Ethernet aggregation deployments. The full PoE models are ideal for high-density IP telephony deployments. The base software in EX4200 Switches supports a full suite of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching capabilities. Up to 10 EX4200 switches can be combined and managed as one device via Virtual Chassis Technology over a 128 Gbps backplane. Redundant, hot-swappable power supplies and a hot-swappable fan tray with redundant blowers are included to ensure maximum uptime. Uplink modules can be installed without powering down the switch, enabling users to add high-speed connectivity at any time through either four GbE ports or two 10GbE ports.
